This is a comprehensive guide on everything you need to know about ultrashape. We decided to write this article because we had several visitors who wanted to know the difference between ultrashape vs zerona.  So, we wanted to take this article to not only address the difference but to give an introduction to this new non invasive liposuction alternative as well.

Ultrashape vs zerona

Ultrashape is a new non surgical liposuction procedure that uses external soundwaves to removes stubborn fats from your body. They can used to treat areas such as saddle bags, belly fat, cellulite, love handles, and butt fat.Due to the non invasive nature of this procedure, it is often compared to zerona laser which is also non invasive. However, there are differences in terms of the techniques used to perform the liposuction.

In the first post on zerona laser liposuction, we have give a very detailed explanation on what is zerona laser so we will not repeat it. In short, it is a patented technique that uses laser to stimulate the fatty acids in our body such that they will be moved into the empty spaces between our cells. These can then be discharged through our body as waste.

How much does ultrashape cost

The average cost of ultrashape is around USD3,000.  However, depending on the state and city where the procedure is conducted, the price might range from USD1,500 to USD3,500. The determinants of such price variations includes the cost of living, the experience and qualifications of the surgeon as well as the cost of the facility.

Where can I find ultrashape

Currently, this non surgical treatment is only available in Canada and Europe. In Canada, there are already available in cities such as Toronto (Ontario), Victoria (British Colmbia), Vancourver etc. In Europe, places such as Netherland, Greece, UK, Spain already have ultrashape.

Is ultrashape effective

This is the most important question as people would like to know whether is the treatment worthy of the money the patients need to spend. Unfortuantely, there is no conclusive evidence. Currently, there is mixed reviews with some patients claiming it is not effective while other saying it worked very well. Perhaps the difference is down to the skill of the surgeon.

In the below, I have listed our the clinics that have gotten good reviews. Hopefully, that will help you find the right surgeon.

TCC Clinic, Toronto
Laser Rejuvenation Clinics and Spa in Calgary Alberta, Canada
Dr Cuevas office in Tiajuana Mexico
Doctor Kostas Gritzalas

Difference between Bella Contour and Ultrashape-Contour 1?

Besides ultrashape, there are other non invasive procedures that use sound waves called BellaContour. The difference between the two lies in how the sound energy is being used. For Bella contour, the soundwave is used for “enhancing muscular blood flow and reducing joint pain and reducing cellulite”. This technique is similar to how sport injuries are treated and might not as suitable for fats reduction.
