Cryo modulation reviews
Saturday, April 9th, 2011Here is a new wrinkle removal treatment called Cold Induced Modulation. Unlike other botox competitors such as dysport injections, this new cyro modulation treatment uses cold to help you get rid of the wrinkles in your forehead and facial area.
What is cyro modulation
This new treatment uses cold as the basis for the injections. Recently, the use of cold in cosmetic surgery procedure has been quite prominent of which zeltiq coolsulpting is the most popular. For the cyro modulation treatment, it uses a 27-gauge needle to inject controlled subcutaneous cooling into the forehead of patients. This targets the nerves that are responsible for making the muscles contract and creating the fine lines. The coldness will damage the nerves and remove the fine lines but the breakthrough is that the damages will be reversed over time.
Benefits of cyro modulation
Unlike other needle based injections, this freezing treatment uses no chemcials that can be harmful to your body. In addition this cold treatment target the nerves, which is more direct than the previous treatments which targets the tissues that contain these nerves. The end result will likely be more prominent and be more effective.
Has cyro modulation been approved by the FDA
It is still early days for this new treatment as it is only in clinical trials. I expect sometime next year, the company might be going into human trials. This is when you can sign up and get free treatments to remove wrinkle lines using freezing technology.
Is any side effects to cryo modulation
According to early clinical trials, there is no side effects other than what is the expected with any injections, which is bruising and swelling.
How much does cyro modulation cost
Since this new treatment has not been launched yet, there is no information on the prices that you need to pay.
