Acell-matristem micromatrix for hair
Monday, August 29th, 2011Acell is a new medical device technology company that seems to be doing something significant. According to their press kits, they have developed a powerful new line of technology devices that are based on patented regenerative technology. When MatriStem is replaced into an surgical area, it would help the wounds to self generate, which means a faster rate of recovery.
Currently, one of the areas where the acell technology is applied is in matristem micromatrix hairloss system. It has been shown that the technology is able to clone the hair, which is great news for people who are losing hair.
How matristem micromatrix works
Before we proceed, do bear in mind that this research is still in very early stages. Hence, the commercialization of the technology might not happen so soon.
Having said that, how the technology works is quite fantastic. Whenever an injury happens, the body has two paths. One is to replace the affected area with scar tissue, which is the common way the body will react. Another path is the regenerative path. During this path, new tissues will be regrown including new hair. Hence, what matristem micromatrix does is to induce the body to choose the regenerative pathway, rather the scar tissue way.
Updated: it seems that matristem micromatrix is now being made available. If you want to know who offers matristem micromatrix now, we manage to find Dr Robert Niedbalski, D.O.,medical director at Northwest Hair Restoration in Tacoma, WA, is offering this treatment for his patients. He is combining an arterial blood serum with matristem micromatrix to activate the stem cells in patient;s eyebrow so as to stimulate their growth.
You can see the matristem micromatrix before and after photos below:
This new eyebrow restoration treatment is called ACell + PRP injection therapy. If you want to participate in this 12 month eyebrow restoration study, please contact Northwest Hair Restoration at (253) 572-2949.
